Listed below are some important policies that I follow in order to achieve the best results for my clients.
 
1.  YOU AND YOUR HEALTH ARE FIRST My primary goal is to see you reach your full and optimum health.  I work with you to achieve this goal, but for you to truly benefit, you must be READY to get better, you must WANT to be healthy.  I listen to you and then develop, based on over 25 years in the alternative health field, a healing plan.  This plan may draw from only one or two areas of holistic health (i.e. EFT, Flower Essences, Herbs, Homeopathy, Massage, Reiki, Nutrition, etc.), or it may combine several.  Each consultation is 100% confidential.
 
2. QUALITY    I use only the highest quality natural ingredients and remedies in my
 treatment plans.  When I make you a personalized tea blend, I use only organic or wildcrafted herbs.  I buy my homeopathic and botanical essence products only from businesses that are well established, ethical, approved by the FDA, and use the finest natural ingredients.  A healthy body can heal faster, and healthy ingredients in any holistic remedy can only promote that healing process.
 
3. ETHICS     Because everyone is different, each one of us responds differently to any
dis-ease or problem.  I definitely do not use a "cookie cutter" approach to healing.  Therefore, it is also my policy to consult and interview with a client before deciding which holistic remedy to use.  What will work for you as an individual, may not necessarily work for someone else.  To that end, I must talk with you, ideally in person, so that you will have the best possible care.
 
4. PAYMENT POLICY      As I stated previously, my main goal is to see you in optimum health.  That is why I am willing to work with you if you are experiencing a temporary cash problem.  I say temporary, because that is just one of the many things that I can work to fix, if you'd like, through the energy balancing portion of holistic healing.  Like all of us, of course, I do need actual money.  The people I get my homeopathic medicine from, for example, do not barter with me, they expect cash.  I hope you, as my client, will appreciate this fact, and be honest when it comes to your financial position.

Janet Brown has been a Healer since 1978, with special focus as a Master Herbalist (25 years), including alternative therapies such as homeopathy and Bach Flower Remedies.  She is also a Reiki Master, attuned by Doris Denby in the Usui tradition,  and has a Level 2 certification in Shamballa Reiki through Jan Harkey.  Janet has been healing people and animals with Reiki since 1996.
 
She has 14 years as a massage therapist, and is a certified EFT practitioner (9 years).
 
Janet has also conducted over 100 workshops in Virginia, Indiana and Michigan, written over twenty different information handouts concerning natural health, and written two books.
